From one Jodie to another

Hi, I’m Jodie, dog mum to Teddy and Rosie and the new face behind Max & Blu.

In 2026, I bought the brand from its founder, also named Jodie. Yes, two Jodies! That’s us together in the photo.

The original Jodie created Max & Blu from her love of dogs and experience working with them. She saw an opportunity for modern dog accessories that were comfortable, functional and beautiful to use.

That combination is what drew me to the brand. I loved what she’d created and could see myself building on it.

I’ve spent more than 25 years building businesses, but this one brings together two things that have always been part of my life: a love of beautiful products and a love of dogs.

Meet Teddy & Rosie

Teddy and Rosie are very much part of our family. They come along for coffee, join us on trips away and make sure we get out for a walk every day.

They’re now part of the Max & Blu team too, trying products, keeping me company while I work and appearing in photos when they’re feeling cooperative.

Like you, I want the things I buy for my dogs to be comfortable, easy to use and made well. And if they look lovely too, even better.

Our next chapter

I’m proud to carry on what Jodie started and put my own care and attention into Max & Blu.

As the collection grows, I’ll keep coming back to what matters: quality, comfort and practical design, in styles you’ll enjoy using every day.
